HR Coordinator

 

About Us:

 

DSMA is a dynamic and growing organization in the Automotive industry dedicated to helping dealerships across North America either sell their dealership or acquire additional ones. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR department. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, with the opportunity to grow a successful HR career. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.

·        Participate in audits and assessments to maintain a culture of compliance within the organization.

·        Help update and maintain HR policies and procedures to align with changing regulations.

·        Provide administrative support for HR processes, including maintaining employee records, generating reports, and managing HR databases.

·        Assist in processing HR-related documentation, such as new hires, terminations, and status changes.

·        Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

·        Collaborate with the department head to identify training needs and develop training materials.

·        Assist in organizing and coordinating training programs, workshops, and webinars.

·        Monitor and track employee training progress and compliance.

·        Participate in the recruitment process by assisting with job postings, resume screening, interview coordination and reference checks.

·        Help maintain the applicant tracking system and recruitment-related records.

·        Generate HR-related reports and analytics as needed to support decision-making.

·        Assist in analyzing HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Pursuing or recently completed a Human Resources certification.

·        Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

·        Adaptability and a willingness to learn.

·        Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
